We will start Pre Season training in a few weeks, on the 5th Feb probably at Pottery Green in Lane Cove (behind the aquatic centre.) We won’t go back to Rushcutters Bay as the traffic and parking is rubbish. So spend the next couple of weeks in the gym and then be ready to do some running in Feb.
We’ll put in a solid few weeks and then hit the trials which will look like this:

• 1st March – Subbies 7s tournament. Mitch Dow and Nic O’Connor will be the coaches/selectors. Front rowers are exempt but all other players will be open for selection. It is the first time they have held a 7s tournament and we will be sending our strongest team possible as I think it will be quite competitive.
• 15th March – Orange 10s. It’s a bloody good weekend, we will go down in a bus on Friday night and come back on Sunday. The competition is usually pretty weak and their is decent prize money so the last few times we went we made enough to pay for our beers on the Saturday night. For transport and accommodation it will be roughly $120. So get some mates together and get involved!

• 29th March trial vs Hunters Hill – Boronia Park
• 5th April – Round 1 vs Drummoyne @ Drummoyne
• Round 3 (Easter) is a wet weather week
• Round 4 is the day after ANZAC Day and we are playing against Petersham @ Ryde
